Book review : Opal (Lux #3) by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Well Ladies and gents if anyone is keeping up with this book this is a quick review !

Best quote: “I tilted my head back against his shoulder, wondering how he'd gone from douchebag extraordinaire to this...this guy who still infuriated me but also constantly surprised and amazed me.To this guy I'd fallen madly in love with.”

The story picks up where it left off, with Adam no longer with us and Dawson back, well back but not himself with out Beth - he will do anything to have Beth back.

Kathy and Daemon's relationship grows stronger and  as always  he makes your knees go all jelly with his awesome one liners. The best part of this book is the the deep emotions and  the brothers  attempting to connect.

Blake is back in this book aswell and - yes you wont like him anymore then the last book!

“You really shouldn’t trust a soul in this game. Not when everyone has something to gain or lose.”

This book grows the story and its characters, and a great read.
only negtive word I can say is : I hated the planing, thier dragged on meetinsg to plane thier rescues and all that got old fast.

Enjoy Lux: Opal!

Onyx (Lux, #2) Review

Book Bio : Thanks to his alien mojo, Daemon’s determined to prove what he feels for me is more than a product of our bizarro connection. So I’ve sworn him off, even though he’s running more hot than cold these days. But we’ve got bigger problems.

When  I started the first book i was utterly floored with my desire to read more, hanging on every word from Jennifer.

Daemon The boy next door with a fierce attitude his ice and cocky determined meant to keep everyone away, meant to keep out determined of not naive Katy  away from getting to close to him or his sister Dee..... a little to late XD

Who wouldn't want to be called Kitty Cat by Daemon....
I loved this book its writing was brilliant and flowing and the plot works !

This second book drips with tension and keeps you hanging waiting and begging for more. The chemistry between them is amazing.

Differently a wonderful book to keep LUX going  :)

Book Review: Fifty shads of gray

When literature student Anastasia Steele goes to interview young entrepreneur Christian Grey, she encounters a man who is beautiful, brilliant, and intimidating. The unworldly, innocent Ana is startled to realize she wants this man and, despite his enigmatic reserve, finds she is desperate to get close to him. Unable to resist Ana’s quiet beauty, wit, and independent spirit, Grey admits he wants her, too—but on his own terms.

Shocked yet thrilled by Grey’s singular erotic tastes, Ana hesitates. For all the trappings of success—his multinational businesses, his vast wealth, his loving family—Grey is a man tormented by demons and consumed by the need to control. When the couple embarks on a daring, passionately physical affair, Ana discovers Christian Grey’s secrets and explores her own dark desires.

The first book in the series surprised me, in a good way it was not what i expected, Hot, emotional , complex and moving, to tell you all the truth i only expected plain out Hot and all the bedroom, but  there is a whole other side into the story, and it hooked me.  really felt  as if in the story and the feelings of  whats happening between Christan and Anna,  in its own way its bueatiful.

Christian the control freak, handsome proactive and overbearing with a dark secret and a very exotic taste, gets a interested in the  creative  innocent brunette Anna, at first he wants to  have her as he hade many other but feelings start to change and it doesn't go the way that Christian Expected it to.
A Brilliant start to a  good trilogy.

Showing how love can break throw even the strangest of barriers.
4 out 5 hearts
I will be reviewing the other 2 books soon !

Book review : Oceans Apart by Karen Kingsbury

"love doesn't begin until you forgive."

I loved this book, yes it brings tears to my eyes from the first  pages up to the last, a true  story about  love, pain and finding  peace and forgiveness not just  to someone else but to yourself.

I am looking forward to more books about Max and his new family. This book talks about real life stores in families, and how there is hope through our trials.
I like the way Karen Kingsbury brings God, faith, family, and love together in her books. I am looking forward to reading many more books by Karen Kingsbury in the future.

The husband mast face his faults, his mistakes and forgive himself for  what he had done.  i did think  he should have shown  more compassion for what he did and  the guilt of  having  cheated.
his wife mast see the mistakes she made as well and also love and forgive her husband.
His wife did show  how hurt and anger even hate she felt to  her husband, max and  his mother, but watching as she learns from it was  very thought provoking.
Max learns   to make peace with the death of his    mother, accepting his father and loving  every one he meets.

Yes this is a Christan book, and I loved it  i am a Christan and   the story in this is remarkable,

recommend his to   Christians and  even those who are not,  cant wait to read more  from Karen, this book is great for  learning about forgiveness.

Book Review : Master of Seduction (Sea Wolves #1)

The infamous pirate Black Jack Rhys never encountered a ship he could not board or a woman he could not bed. But the dashing brigand may have met his match in the fiery beauty who has vowed to bring him to justice . . .
A fearless, flame-haired enchantress, Lorelei Dupree believes she has a duty to her fiancé and to the city of Charleston to help end the reign of the notorious Black Jack. But when the bold pirate eludes her carefully set trap, she suddenly finds herself the prisoner of the irresistible criminal they call "Master of Seduction." Once trapped in Jack's intoxicating gaze, Lorelei feels herself falling under the handsome rogue's sensuous spell. And now the terror of the high seas faces the one peril he never anticipated—for though he has stolen so many hearts, he never dreamed he'd meet a woman who could so effortlessly conquer his own.

Well I don't  need to tell you that i LOVE! historical romances and this one is sure high up my list, i loved it !
yes its all about that rough pirate that makes your knees weak and your heart beat !

Jack is very exciting and witty. The heroine comes toe to toe with him.   Jack the very sexual and dangerous pirate but the suborn Lorelei takes him up on his own game and they start a game of cat and mouse with a dare to see who will win ? for love or lust !

I recomand this book ! 5 hearts !!

book review - The Colonel's Daughter

I enjoyed the book,   with a suborn  lady and the  slightly bad boy hero, it is  quit fun to read their fights, how they fall in love and the soft sways of how to learn and grow... its a good western for a girl that loves those sexy gun slinger haha

Suzanne Bonneaux is taking the stage coach to Deadwood to meet with her childhood friend, a native Arapaho Indian. Time is of the essence because soon the tribe will move to another reservation. Suzanne’s journey, however, is interrupted when the stage is held up by George “Big Nose” Parrott and his gang. Suzanne and three other passengers find themselves stranded and forced to walk back to the previous way station.

One of the passengers is the notorious shootist Black Jack Sloan. Jack indicates that he wants nothing to do with his fellow passengers, but sparks fly when Suzanne refuses to be cast aside. Suzanne’s appearance as a genteel Eastern-educated lady is deceptive. Although she has recently returned from school in Philadelphia, in fact she’s been raised as an Army brat by her stepfather, Colonel Andrew Garrett

I give this a  3 / 5 hearts

book review : Emma by Jane Austen

Emma !
the book is very out of the ordeneray but a  good read,  showing that the great writer Jane   can crearte a personality  and make her a lead role even when she is not beloved  by all, Emma is a creation and a leading lady with  not the abmerial quilities youw oudl except.

Emma  is witty, selfish, smart and scathing, and, in the context of the author's oeuvre, atypically un-self-aware.  She  thinks herself as the perfect match maker and wants to see that her plans goes as she wants, a spoiled girl but  I loved  reading her grow learn and even change into a woman  that sees beyond herself.

Each character has its place and purpose, and  well developed,  so you cannot wait to see what they will do next what discussions  they might make and hearts will be broken.

I recommend this book to every one that enjoys  a  witty plot, a complex character and romance ! thank you for reading

Book Review : Epic Fail by Claire LaZebnik

Well where do I start with this fun book, a modern spin on Pride and Prejudice that is both  entraining and  romantic, I you enjoy the youth fun books then I suggest you read it,Ii find a lot of fun in graping this type books and reading them , this one surprised me !

I was very glad when I found it and started reading it instantly finishing it the same day...

right lets jump in !

Plot:
Elise Benton moves to La with her family, her parents having gotten  positions at a very high society  school, where all the stars children happen to go, with her mother as the principal and father as the mathematic teacher - this could only mean a disaster.

Elise is having a bad first day  having had a run in with one of the popular girls thats until she meets Derek Edwards, the  moody hunk with  movie star parents, he seems aloof and grumpy, but her sister Jean is having  the best of days having fallen for Derek's bets friend chase, oh did i mention chases sister hates Elise's guts ?

What I thought  ?
I loved it, it was a fresh take on a classic  story, the characters as well developed and the story runs smoothly making it a real page turner, there was some confusing parts but all in all i would read it again !
4/5 hearts
